Weight loss & dieting: why a 'healthy' weight isn't always a happy weight

Fast food for thought: a 'healthy' weight isn't always a happy weight...

Although shaping a slender silhouette may see our self-esteem soar, flaunting the petite physique that society persistently portrays as representing a 'healthy' body weight can leave many living a far from 'healthy' or happy life.
This is simply due to the fact that in order for the average person to achieve and sustain such a slim silhouette, they must dedicate every ounce of energy to an extreme eating and exercise regime that not only leaves them feeling (chronically) famished, fatigued and fighting to flaunt a figure that they've been brainwashed into believing is 'healthy', but battling to banish a battered brain that's developed the psychological perception that a 'healthy' body is built from deprivation - the deprivation that leaves most feeling mentally debilitated, depressed and desperate to ditch the diets that decrease their waistline as well as their well-being.
